Crispy Baked Hot Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings

  • 1 t salt

  • 1 t pepper

  • 1 t mustard powder

  • 1 t garlic powder

  • 1/2 t baking soda

  • 3 T ghee

  • 2 t orange juice

  • 1/2 C hot sauce (Frank’s Red Hot)

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

  2. Mix together salt, pepper, mustard powder, garlic powder and baking soda. In a large bowl toss the dry spice mixture on the wings.

  3. Place wings on a foil lined tray - and preferably on a sheet rack as well for extra crispiness.

  4. Bake for 30 minutes, turn heat up to 400 degrees and bake for an additional 20 minutes.

  5. While wings are baking, in a small pot combine ghee, orange juice and hot sauce, simmer until all ghee has melted.

  6. Once wings are cook, while they are still hot, toss them in a large bowl with the hot sauce mixture. Serve with your favorite sauce, I love these with Siete Cashew Queso and cucumber sticks!
