Crispy Baked Hot Wings
Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings
1 t salt
1 t pepper
1 t mustard powder
1 t garlic powder
1/2 t baking soda
3 T ghee
2 t orange juice
1/2 C hot sauce (Frank’s Red Hot)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Mix together salt, pepper, mustard powder, garlic powder and baking soda. In a large bowl toss the dry spice mixture on the wings.
Place wings on a foil lined tray - and preferably on a sheet rack as well for extra crispiness.
Bake for 30 minutes, turn heat up to 400 degrees and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
While wings are baking, in a small pot combine ghee, orange juice and hot sauce, simmer until all ghee has melted.
Once wings are cook, while they are still hot, toss them in a large bowl with the hot sauce mixture. Serve with your favorite sauce, I love these with Siete Cashew Queso and cucumber sticks!
