Meet Chef Nicole Bassis...

A native New Yorker, Nicole found her hunger for a Culinary Career while studying Education at Marymount Manhattan in NYC. Nicole enrolled at the renowned Institute of Culinary Education. Upon graduation she quickly turned her passion into a full time Career.

Nicole made her rounds in some of NYC’s top restaurants and apprenticed under Chef Chika Tillman of ChikaLicious Dessert Bar. She also spent time in the Catskills running a Bed & Breakfast and sourcing all ingredients locally to create luxurious three-course Breakfasts and Dinners.

Nicole decided to take her passion for food & education to the masses teaching hands on cooking classes for both kids and adults in NYC ranging from cooking parties, private lessons and full kitchen 50+ client team building events as Executive Chef at Taste Buds Kitchen.

Nicole has found working with clients on personalized custom menus to be the most rewarding part of her career and is currently focusing her professional talents on cooking for private clients, small dinner parties & catered events based on clients specific customizations whether its Gluten Free, Paleo, Vegan, or just delicious recipes! Cooking for whole families with kids as well as young professionals all over NYC.
